As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Jen Durward treats the mind, body, and spirit. She practices the Theory of Caring, developed by Professor Jean Watson, RN. Caring Science embraces the nurse as the heart of healing, by actively engaging the patient in caring through authentic presence and intentionality (Lauren Spilsbury, RN, MSN).

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Jen Durward was born and raised in Havre on the Montana Hi-Line. Giving back to this community that she still calls home is deeply personal for Jen. Growing up, she saw a need for quality psychiatric-mental health care. Her older sister, nicknamed Hope by her grandmother, was born with neurological and physical challenges.
